The organizers of the action "Immortal Regiment" will not apply for a procession in the traditional format on June 24 due to the epidemiological situation in the country, co-chair of the Central Headquarters of the All-Russian public movement "Immortal Regiment of Russia" Elena Tsunaeva told RBC.

On May 9, Victory Day, the Immortal Regiment campaign was held online. However, if the situation with the CORONAVIRUS changes for the better, the organizers expected to hold the march in person on June 24.

According to Tsunaeva, an online march on June 24 is also not planned.

“Restrictions continue, we are monitoring the situation with the sick in Moscow. And the mayor of the city did not lift the restrictions. Therefore, unfortunately, on June 24 we will remember the Victory Parade, but, most likely, there will be no procession, ”she told Interfax.
