How Russians reacted to non-working days

Half of Russians - 50% - do not believe that the introduction of non-working days from October 30 to November 7 across the country will help stabilize the situation with the spread of covid-19 , showed the VTsIOM poll "Non-working days: how will we spend them?" (available from RBC). Among young respondents (from 25 to 44 years old) there are even more of them - 56-59%. 40% of Russians believe that this measure can help.

Poll "VTsIOM-Sputnik" "Non-working days: how will we spend them?" was held on October 24, 1.6 thousand Russians over the age of 18 took part in it. The maximum error size with a probability of 95% does not exceed 2.5%, the study says.

The study showed that the vast majority of Russians (97%) are aware of the introduction of non-working days, only 3% of respondents have not heard about it. At the same time, 53% of respondents consider this measure necessary (70% among 18-24 year olds, 48% among men versus 58% among women), while 40% do not see it as necessary (51% among 25-34 year olds).
