And to cope with the volumes that take place at our dairy enterprises,” said Leonid Zayats.Another topic of the meeting was the work of the industrial sector of the region. “Last year you significantly sank in woodworking, the textile industry, petrochemicals and a number of other industries. In general, this is unacceptable for the Grodno region. And in the first quarter of this year, you worked at the level of last year, which means that you have not yet compensated for the losses. We need to recover faster. As I said, run, run, run. The main thing now is acceleration," the Belarusian leader stressed.

We operate on foreign markets with our product, and competition is very important to us. If we pay someone more than today on the market, then we expose ourselves to economic our industrial enterprises are at risk," Leonid Zayats explained.
Belarus will pay special attention to the efficiency of the pig industry, especially at those enterprises that have been operating for several decades. "Old complexes use old energy-consuming technologies. It is sometimes impossible to maintain this technology there. It is necessary to build new, modern enterprises instead of such enterprises. Because it is necessary to feed the people, it is necessary to load MEAT processing plants. And it is necessary to trade our products. There must be competition," the vice president said. -premier.
The President demanded that by the end of the year in agriculture - not only in the region, but in the whole country - no questions remain. “We have to work better this year than last. We have achieved good growth in 2022, but the task is to further increase the volume of livestock production, increase the volume of crop production. In general, we must achieve growth of at least 4.5- 5%. We set such a task today for all the farmers of our republic," said Leonid Zayats.
