The new vaccine of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "ARRIAH" for the prevention of Newcastle disease and low pathogenic avian influenza H9 "AviNewFlu Multi" entered the market

The vaccine is intended for the prevention of Newcastle disease and low pathogenic avian influenza H9 in birds kept in poultry farms and in private households of citizens in high-risk areas. The vaccine is especially effective for preventing Newcastle disease caused by genotype 7L.

Dosage form – emulsion for injection. The vaccines are produced from the extraembryonic fluid of chicken embryos infected with Newcastle disease viruses (ARRIAH G7 and La Sota strains), inactivated with aminoethylethyleneimine dimer, with the addition of thimerosal as a preservative and an oil adjuvant consisting of medical white oil and pharmacopoeial emulsifiers based on esters of carboxylic acids in a ratio of 30÷70. In appearance, vaccines are a homogeneous white emulsion.

The shelf life of vaccines is 18 months from the date of issue, subject to storage and transportation conditions.

The vaccines are packaged in 100 cm³ (200 doses), 200 cm³ (400 doses) or 500 cm³ (1000 doses).

Another new vaccine, AviNew Multi, against genotype 7 of Newcastle disease, also registered in 2024 , will go on sale in May.
