Research and practical tests have shown that the use of a vaccine that is not inferior to imported analogues has made it possible to stabilize the safety and productivity of vaccinated animals. These results were presented at the International Conference "Veterinary in the Agroindustrial Complex" in Novosibirsk at the end of May.
The next stage of cooperation will be large-scale clinical trials of a live cultural dry vaccine against porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome based on the most popular subgenotype of the European PRRS-1 strain.
The drug proposed for state registration in the future has successfully passed a multiple cycle of preclinical trials and has optimal efficiency and safety parameters. It is harmless and areactogenic when used on target animals.
This development is of considerable interest to Russian pig farmers as a practical example of the implementation of one of the main vectors of import substitution and is in demand on the Russian market.
