Roskomnadzor demanded to remove the restriction from the video of the Sputnik YouTube channel

Roskomnadzor sent a letter to GOOGLE demanding to remove all restrictions in the form of an interview with French neuroscientist Idriss Aberkan on the Sputnik France YouTube channel. This was reported on the website of the department.

According to the supervisory authority, "the interview highlighted the problems associated with the spread of the new CORONAVIRUS infection covid-19 , its consequences and the restrictive measures introduced by the French government."

RBC sent a request to Google.

“Such actions by the video hosting administration <...> are an act of censorship against Russian media. The agency demands that all restrictions be lifted as soon as possible, as well as explaining the reasons for their introduction,” the message says.
