The maximum number of people infected with COVID-19 since the beginning of the year was revealed

Over the past day, 7,704 new cases of CORONAVIRUS infection have been detected in the capital. Such data was provided by the operational headquarters for combating the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the statistics of the operational headquarters, this is the maximum number of cases per day since the beginning of 2021. Thus, since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,234,717 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Moscow.

According to the operational headquarters, 69 people also died from COVID-19 over the past day. In total, 20,907 people died from the coronavirus in the capital.

On the eve of the deputy mayor of Moscow Anastasia Rakova said that about 14 thousand beds were deployed in the capital to receive patients with coronavirus, of which 78% were filled.
