The Department of Education of the Perm Administration reported that to date, five students have been diagnosed with covid-19 in gymnasium No. 6. In this regard, education in five classes is organized in a distance format.
The school administration and the Department of Education are fulfilling all the requirements and norms necessary in this situation, the press service of the Perm City Hall reported. The information was transferred to Rospotrebnadzor. As of today, there is no reason to close the school.
“It should be noted that the gymnasium complies with all measures to combat the spread of COVID-19: the presence of antiseptics on all floors and in all rooms, the presence of recirculators, daily thorough cleaning of all rooms, the use of personal protective equipment by the gymnasium staff. At the entrance, thermometry is carried out, a biometric system is currently being installed,” the mayor’s office said.
Earlier, RBC Perm reported that several classes of the Gymnasium No. 6 MAOU were quarantined due to COVID-19. This was reported to RBC Perm by a source familiar with the situation. The second source also confirmed the information about the quarantine.
“Three classes are closed at Gymnasium No. 6. If another one closes, the entire school will be quarantined,” the source said.
