The ruble fell sharply at the end of February against the backdrop of sanctions, but by April 7, on the Moscow stock exchange, the DOLLAR fell to 75 rubles, the euro - below 81.These are the levels of the period before the military operation in Ukraine

The strengthening of the ruble after the devaluation was expected, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told reporters, RBC correspondent reports.

“Currently, the balance of payments is strong. We EXPORT at the same volumes of energy resources, and in the face of limited import supplies, imports have decreased. The current account is in surplus, five to six times higher than usual,” the minister said.

He explained that the strength of the balance of payments "resulted" in the strengthening of the ruble due to restrictions on access to gold and foreign exchange reserves, reduction in operations, deactivation of the budget rule.

The Ministry of Finance announced the work on measures for the "predicted" ruble exchange rate Economics

For future strengthening, the government and the Central Bank have prepared measures to possibly limit import supplies and payments on them. At the same time, departments will gradually abandon the restrictions of the Central Bank on the use of foreign currency.
