40,546 people were discharged with recovery, including 87 per day. During the day, it was not possible to save 12 people, fatal cases in the region rose to 2740.

According to the regional headquarters, as of May 6, 23 cases were confirmed in Krasnodar, 8 in Dinskoy district, 6 each in Sochi, Anapa and Korenovsky districts. Bryukhovetsky district - 4 each.

3 cases each in Vyselkovsky, Labinsk, Krylovsky and Kushchevsky districts. Two people fell ill in the Kanevsky district, one each in Goryachiy Klyuch, Tuapse, Temryuk, Yeisk, Novopokrovsky, Beloglinsky, Otradnensky, Primorsko-Akhtarsky, Krasnoarmeysky, Novokubansky districts.

62 people are in serious condition on mechanical ventilation, two are on ECMO. 1,198 residents with covid-19 continue to be treated in hospitals, 1,597 at home. Over the entire period of the pandemic, 229,372 people have applied to medical institutions of the region with suspected COVID-19.
