Goods of Singaporean manufacturers will be presented at the BUCE auction for the first time

January 31, MINSK. The goods of Singaporean producers will be presented at the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange for the first time, BelTA learned from the press service of the BUCE.

According to the BUCE press service, previously Singaporean companies participated in exchange trading exclusively as buyers. “Under the purchase order placed by one of the domestic industrial flagships, manufacturers of laser equipment from Singapore interested in working on the Belarusian market are attracted. Thus, it is planned to intensify exchange trading with this Asian country, which is still a net importer of Belarusian goods. Basically this is skimmed MILK powder , and recently there has been an increased demand for wood products.For example, in 2022, the exchange EXPORT of lumber to Singapore amounted to $9.3 million, which is an order of magnitude more than in 2021. This year, the development of the Singapore direction will be given special attention ", - said in BUTB.

Nine companies from Singapore are currently accredited on the stock exchange. A number of them regularly participate in special trading sessions for the sale of sawn products for export with delivery to the country of destination. It is expected that the placement of orders for the sale of import-substituting goods of Singaporean production in the BUCE trading system will contribute to the formation of a favorable competitive environment and reduce the costs of Belarusian enterprises purchasing at exchange auctions.
