From food processors to ice cream—innovations and classic recipes. Which products will be awarded the State Quality Mark by 2025?

The State Quality Mark was established by Decree No. 21 of the President of Belarus on January 18, 2024. it is awarded to food products, industrial goods for the population, and industrial and technical products manufactured by Belarusian legal entities that meet such criteria as safety, environmental friendliness, innovation, technological advancement, and aesthetics. Seventeen enterprises became the first in the history of sovereign Belarus to receive the State Quality Mark, and by the end of 2025, it had been awarded to 12 products, including everything from cars to beloved treats. BELTA reports on the recipients of this highest award. The  GS12A1 Self-Propelled Grain Harvester. The GS12A1 grain harvester, manufactured by Gomselmash, combines comfort with time-tested technologies and technical solutions.

"Productivity, versatility, gentle threshing, harvesting of weedy, highly straw-rich, and damp crops, and simplicity are the undeniable advantages of the GS12A1 combine harvester, making it the most sought-after in its class. The new, modern UNI CAB combine harvester cabin is equipped with everything necessary for comfortable operation, with the added bonus of excellent visibility from the operator's seat. An ergonomic joystick, video surveillance of the work area, an audio system, a refrigerator with a heating function, a drinks chiller, climate control, a steering column, an adjustable air suspension seat, and much more—all this allows the operator to customize the operator's workstation for a comfortable and personalized experience," the company explained. 
  The combine harvester is equipped with a powerful LED VISION work area lighting system with ten headlights, facilitating efficient harvesting even in the dark. 
"To minimize downtime, the GS12A1 features an automatic centralized lubrication system (ALS), which increases the reliability of 26 key components and reduces maintenance time. The GS12A1 combine's productivity is achieved by accelerating the grain flow with an accelerator drum before the threshing drum. The increased drum volumes, combined with the increased double concave area, allow for a longer threshing path and a gentler threshing process," the manufacturer explains. 

Furthermore, the accelerator drum's teeth evenly distribute the grain, reducing the load on the threshing drum and main concave. This ensures consistent and efficient threshing, giving the combine an advantage when harvesting wet and even the most difficult crops. 

"The 9,500-liter hopper, equipped with a vibratory ford, is ideal for medium-sized farms. Emptying a full hopper takes less than two minutes thanks to an unloading rate of 90 l/s," the company noted.

Half-linen softened blanket
The softened semi-linen blanket from the Orsha Linen Mill meets all quality requirements, meets safety standards, and boasts excellent physical, mechanical, and chemical properties, as well as a beautiful appearance and durability. "A distinctive feature of this blanket is that it is made using innovative cottonized yarn with properties similar to cotton, while retaining all the positive characteristics of linen. Compared to regular long-fiber flax yarn, cottonized yarn has no lumps, no bumps, or knots, and is significantly softer. The use of variable-shrinkage yarns in the fabric formation allowed us to achieve completely new innovative textures on the fabric after washing, which had not previously been used on linen or linen-containing fabrics," explained Sergey Sidin, Deputy General DIRECTOR of the company. He also noted that a softened linen blanket offers a unique combination of comfort and aesthetics, which is impossible to overlook.
 
"It's one of the most environmentally friendly and hypoallergenic materials available; it contains no chemical additives or synthetic fibers, making it an ideal choice for those with sensitive skin or allergies. Its ability to regulate heat transfer makes a linen blanket versatile throughout the year, and it also has high moisture-wicking properties. Linen is the only material whose surface doesn't build up static electricity during use; it helps reduce static electricity in rooms and effectively removes static electricity from the body," noted Sergey Sidin.

Ice cream plombir with vanilla flavor in a waffle cone "1962"
Ice cream with a mass fraction of fat in the MILK part of the product of 12% is produced by JSC "Kobrin butter and cheese factory", where it isThis ice cream, like others, is part of the Soviet classic line. "This plombir (ice cream) received its name for a reason: it is made according to a 1962 recipe. This recipe represents classic Soviet plombir—the benchmark for creamy ice cream, distinguished by its highest quality, nutritional value, and delicate consistency. Importantly, this ice cream recipe is completely free of vegetable fats, stabilizers like guar gum, emulsifiers (except for lecithin from the yolk), preservatives, and flavor enhancers," explained Olga Kuleshova, HEAD of Marketing at the Kobrin Butter and CHEESE FACTORY.
Classic plombir (ice cream) contains egg yolk, which gives the ice cream its yellowish hue and a pleasant, flexible, almost creamy texture. 
"1962 vanilla-flavored ice cream in a waffle cone is a premium product with a natural composition. Consumers choose it for its honest, milky, creamy taste, which remains a benchmark for many generations. It's a true taste from childhood," noted Olga Kuleshova. 

In 2025, over 14 tons of 1962 ice cream were sold. Its flavor is also familiar to consumers in foreign markets, including Chinese fans of this delicacy. 

The MMZ-3LD diesel engine
is one of the key developments of MMZ UKH OJSC, which is equal to imported analogs and even surpasses them in some parameters. Due to this, it is successfully used to replace foreign units, including those that have failed and require replacement.

"Awarding the State Quality Mark to MINSK Motor Plant products is not only a high award and recognition, but also a powerful incentive to move forward, develop the engine line, and continue to maintain a quality bar of which we can be proud," emphasized MMZ Director
Alexander Botvinnik. According to him, the company has created an engine that will operate reliably, economically, and reliably in a wide range of conditions. 

MMZ UKH OJSC is the only manufacturer of three-cylinder diesel engines with a liquid cooling system in the Republic of Belarus., as well as in neighboring countries. Milk
with SUGAR, with a fat content of 8.5%, produced by Rogachevsky MKK, is made from classic condensed milk through a longer heat treatment, which gives it a thick consistency and caramel color. The thermization process, carried out in specialized autoclaves, takes approximately one and a half hours. "Our dairy product contains no preservatives, flavorings, or vegetable fats, making it the benchmark for genuine boiled condensed milk." It is completely ready for consumption, and is also widely used in the food industry for the production of various confectionery products," the company said. 
Production of the beloved delicacy at the Rogachev MKK began in the fall of 2004. Over time, the product gained popularity among consumers and became in demand in the market. The share of EXPORT deliveries of boiled condensed milk accounts for more than 70% of its total sales. Boiled condensed milk is exported to many countries - RUSSIA, the usa , the UAE, Serbia, Armenia, Kazakhstan , Azerbaijan , Uzbekistan , Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

The production volume of boiled condensed milk has increased tenfold since the start of its production. 

"To meet consumer demand for this type of canned milk and increase the production of boiled condensed milk, the plant is modernizing its technological capacities by acquiring additional autoclaves for thermization of condensed milk," the company said. 

Turkey "Meat Nut" Roll
A premium smoked and cooked turkey product produced by Dzerzhinsky Agrokombinat OJSC was added to the company's product range three years ago. It was one of the first turkey products processed at the new production site.
As is well known, turkey MEATTurkey meat is low in fat and high in calories. It's rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals, and even surpasses fish in some respects. Therefore, it's recommended for all age groups. Its low allergenicity makes it a suitable first food for babies. Favorite Alenka" milk chocolate.
"Alenka" chocolate appeared in the USSR in 1967 and quickly gained popularity. This was largely due to the simple yet vibrant packaging featuring an image of a sweet girl in a headscarf. 

"There is a theory that the product was named after Alena, the daughter of Valentina Tereshkova, the first female cosmonaut, who became a symbol of heroism and a breakthrough in space." In those years, after Tereshkova's return to Earth, her young daughter, Alena, became a symbol of the new Soviet era, personifying future generations and bright hopes. The name Alena became incredibly popular and recognizable, and chocolate with that name immediately captured the hearts of customers. "The image on the packaging was created by an artist, based on a photo of a real child—the daughter of photojournalist Alexander Gerinas," Kommunarka JSC reported. 
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Kommunarka confectionery factory slightly modified the girl's appearance. 
"Our Alena acquired the features of a Belarusian beauty. In the 2000s, the word "Favorite" appeared in the brand name, in honor of the director's beloved granddaughter, Alena. This added uniqueness to the brand and made it a true people's brand, beloved by all generations. Over the past five years, the factory has produced an average of approximately 715 tons of "Favorite Alenka" chocolate in 100g bars, 429 tons of 200g bars, and 134 tons of 20g bars annually, the producers noted.

Having a brand like "Favorite Alenka" is of great value to the Kommunarka factory. "It represents respect for tradition, and we want to pass on this famous symbol of history to future generations," the company emphasized. 

6-330 kV cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables

Exports in 2025 were expected to account for 35% of the total volume.

"Cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation are a high-tech and innovative solution that can replace overhead power lines in large cities. This is an import-substituting product, and our company is capable of fully meeting the domestic market's demand for this cable product segment," noted Energokomplekt Production Association, LLC. 

The Belgee X50's
receipt of the State Quality Mark for the Belgee X50, according to BELGEE management, is the result of the consistent work of the entire team. "Since the plant's launch, we have relied on the standards of our partner Geely, which has owned Volvo for over 10 years and applies the brand's quality and safety principles. We analyzed the product and concluded that the X50 meets the criteria for receiving the quality mark. This decision was based on the model's actual performance, which was confirmed by an independent expert assessment. I would like to note that in 2023, we confirmed our title as a laureate of the government award for achievements in product quality and competitiveness. This demonstrated that the company is moving in the right direction," said BELGEE Director Gennady Svidersky. 
In Belarus, more than 11,000 X50s were sold in 2025, a 33% increase compared to 2024. The model took first place among crossovers on the Belarusian market, and customer demand is a key indicator of product quality.

"The X50 is in demand by various categories of buyers: private customers, companies for corporate fleets, taxi services, and car-sharing services. This versatility requires high reliability and a well-thought-out design. We don't make cheap cars – we make high-quality cars accessible. This is the fundamental difference. And the X50 has proven that it is possible to offer a modern, safe, technologically advanced product at a reasonable price," noted Gennady Svidersky. The company consistently improves its level of localization, which impacts the stability of product quality. A control system has been established here, from the incoming acceptance of components to the final inspection of the finished vehicle.

"We continue to work on localizing key processes. Our plans include building and launching our own stamping facility to gain greater control over the production chain. New models, including the hybrid X80, are entering production. This requires mastering new technologies. We partner with Belarusian and Russian manufacturers for auto components, building a quality control system at all stages of delivery. Belgee is a young brand, and the Quality Mark helps build trust in the brand, especially among customers who are not yet familiar with our products. The MSHKh-9 Dust-Based Chemical Ameliorant Applicator is a
machine designed for application of mineral fertilizers, dolomite FLOUR, lime, and belite. The MSHKh-9 can handle it all. The 
machine's hopper capacity is 10 cubic meters. It is equipped with two types of working elements: auger rods and centrifugal spreading elements, or "plates." Auger rods increase application accuracy. If the ameliorated material is highly moist, preventing the use of auger rods, dust-based chemical ameliorants can be applied using the "plates." The machine is equipped with wind protection aprons. Less dust is produced during operation, which is a plus for the environment. The spreading width is 8-10 meters, and the operating speed is 6-10 km/h. The MSHKh-9 is coupled with tractors of the 3rd traction class and above. The spreader is controlled from the tractor cab," explained Andrey Aksyonov, Deputy General Director for Quality at Bobruiskagromash. 

Using the MSHKh-9, agricultural producers save time on fertilizer application, reduce the number of passes across the field, and therefore save on fuel and lubricants, while reducing the need for fertilizer application equipment thanks to the spreader's larger capacity and versatility.  The award of the State Quality Mark to the

Commenting on the results of awarding the State Quality Mark to products in 2025, Elena Morgunova, Chairperson of the State Standardization Committee and Deputy Chairperson of the Republican Certification Commission, noted that products bearing the State Quality Mark must be of the highest quality and be identified with Belarus. 

"Having made quality the country's image, we must make every effort not only to maintain the current level but also to continually improve it. The state quality seal sets a high bar, but an achievable one. We must strive for it. I believe this government approach demonstrates a commitment to actively engaging the economic sector in quality improvement efforts and achieving the best results. Only in this way can we ensure the fulfillment of all the objectives of the upcoming five-year plan, aimed at improving the quality of life for everyone," emphasized Elena Morgunova.
