Orthodox Christians celebrate Epiphany annually on January 19. On this holiday, it is customary to perform the rite of holy ablution. "However, on this day, safety should be kept in mind and only specially designated sites should be chosen for the rite," the Vitebsk Regional Emergency Situations Ministry emphasized.  

The largest number of such sites have been designated in the Vitebsk, Dokshitsy, and Lepel districts.
