Minsk . In the Minsk Region, two road accidents occurred over the past 24 hours, in which three people were injured. This was reported to BELTA by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.
On January 19, at around 4:05 p.m., on the 61st kilometer of the R-58 Minsk-Kalachi-Myadel highway in the Vileika District, a 75-year-old local resident, without a license, was driving
ŠKODA Felicia in condition
Intoxicated (1.7 ppm), he drove into oncoming traffic, where he collided with a Peugeot 508 driven by a 23-year-old resident of Myadel. Both drivers were hospitalized as a result of the accident.
That same day, at approximately 6:20 PM, on the 17th kilometer of the R-23 Minsk-Slutsk-Mikashevichi highway in the Minsk district, a 22-year-old Minsk resident, driving a Volkswagen Passat toward Slutsk, struck a moose that had been hit in the accident, and then overturned on the roadway. As a result of the accident, the driver was taken to the hospital with injuries and released after receiving medical treatment.
Investigations into the accident are underway.
