Minsk . Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus Yuri Gorlov discussed the further development of cooperation at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of
Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov. The ministry's press service provided details of the meeting to BELTA.
The parties exchanged agricultural experience. "In January-November
2025, the range of exported products was expanded, with 45 types of goods supplied for the first time. National Belarusian
food products are also available in large chain stores in Tatarstan," the press service noted. The main exports are
milk and dairy products, animal feed,
fish and fish products.
The Belarusian side expressed its readiness to assist in the design of livestock facilities and equipping them with the necessary technological equipment, increasing the
export of amino acids and wheat gluten, and exporting the entire range of products of the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation. Another area of focus is the training of agricultural specialists in various specialties at Belarusian higher agricultural education institutions, as well as the development of cooperation between higher agricultural educational institutions.
Belarus reaffirms its commitment to strengthening and expanding its fruitful, mutually beneficial partnership with the Republic of Tatarstan in the agricultural sector. This cooperation is based on the exchange of competencies, joint development of human resources, the supply of high-tech equipment and products, and the implementation of long-term projects.
