On January 17, at 11:42 p.m., local residents reported a fire in a private house in the village of Bolshoye Khonovo. Upon arrival, the Ministry of Emergency Situations units observed the house burning with open flames and dense smoke. In one of the rooms, the Ministry of Emergency Situations workers found four dead. The cause and circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

As experience shows, fire emergencies most often occur in housing due to careless handling of fire and failure to observe fire safety regulations.
