
Poultry meat accounts for 47% of total production, while pork accounts for 40% and beef for 12%. It is important to note that the increase in production was achieved solely due to increased supplies of poultry meat, while other types of meat showed a decline.
The Central Federal District remains the leader in meat production, accounting for 42% of the total volume, although compared to the previous year, there has been a slight decrease in production indicators in this district.
Poultry meat production in Russia reached 3.939 million tonnes in slaughter weight at the beginning of October 2025, representing a 2.5% increase compared to the same period in 2024. At the same time, agricultural organizations increased meat production by 2.9%, while private farms experienced a decline in production.
