During the inspection of vehicles en route from the Trans-Baikal Territory and the Amur Region to the Jewish Autonomy, Khabarovsk and Primorsky Territories, violations of veterinary and sanitary rules were found when transporting 2,300 heads of cattle and small ruminants, horses, pigs and day-old chickens, as well as seven batches of frozen fish, MEAT and meat products with a total weight of more than 63 tons.
In particular, the mentioned cargoes were transported without accompanying veterinary documents characterizing their origin, clinical condition, epizootic well-being of the EXPORT area and allowing identification of animals.
So, in the second decade and the end of April, inspectors of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR , during joint duties with police officers on the territory of the Bureysky district of the Amur region, revealed that citizens Butov N.G. and Kotov R.S. transported frozen fish (20 tons) and 1.5 thousand heads of day-old chickens without veterinary accompanying documents.
This ruled out the possibility of characterizing the territorial, species origin and safety of the mentioned cargoes, as well as confirming the epizootic well-being of the place of its release. In both cases, the goods were detained until the circumstances were clarified.
Several hours after the arrest, citizen Butov N.G. received - in electronic form, the data of the veterinary accompanying document for the transported cargo - frozen pollock (20 tons), necessary for passing the control, presented them to the inspector of the supervisory agency and was able to follow the route to the destination.
Uncertified poultry, which was transported by citizen Kotov R.S. in violation of veterinary legislation returned to the place of shipment.
Since the beginning of the year, in relation to all violating carriers, protocols on an administrative offense (part 2 of article 10.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) were drawn up with the subsequent imposition of a fine, conversations were held on strict observance of veterinary and sanitary rules and the mandatory accompaniment of live animals with veterinary accompanying documents.
Information about detected violations is promptly sent to the territorial departments of the Rosselkhoznadzor supervising the subjects of the exit and arrival of goods, including to resolve the issue of bringing to administrative responsibility the owners of private farms from which live animals were sold without documents.
