One of the main changes in the new order was the expanded list of animal breeds and crosses, which allows for a more accurate consideration of the needs of breeding. The list now includes not only the main species, but also specific breeds, such as cattle , horses, buffalo , camels, donkeys, goats, sheep, pigs and various types of birds, including chickens, geese and guinea fowl. it includes 80 breeds of cattle, 35 breeds of goats and 27 breeds of pigs, which will simplify the task of breeding farms in choosing animals for breeding.
In addition, the list includes various types of fish, which highlights the growing importance of aquaculture in agriculture. With the introduction of the new order, breeding farms will have to meet a number of new requirements, including mandatory labeling of farm animals from 2026 to receive state support. All breeding animals must be registered in the Federal State Information System "VetIS".
These measures are aimed at improving control over breeding stock and improving the quality of products in the agricultural sector.
