MINSK . Belarus has developed a strategy for the development of the dairy industry for the next 10 years. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Alexander Yakovchits announced this at the plenary session of the 11th International Forum "Dairy Belarus," BelTA reports.Alexander Yakovchits reported that
MILK production in the republic increased by 4.8% in the first nine months compared to the same period last year. "We see that by the end of the year, we will surpass the 5% growth mark and produce over 9 million tons of milk. There is every reason for this," the Deputy Minister said. He noted the importance of strategic planning, including production and marketing, as well as analyzing global trends for successful development. He also emphasized the need to collaborate with partners from the Russian Federation and other countries to achieve these goals.
"The key task that needs to be addressed today is what we will produce and where we will sell
it in 10 years. We have strategically formulated a development plan for each enterprise and each product. For the next 10 years, we have a strategy for what we will produce and where we will sell it to all countries around the world that are interested in purchasing our products," said Alexander Yakovchits. The Deputy Minister called the forum, which has already become a tradition, a good platform for industry professionals to adjust their approaches and synchronize
their work .
