Beef by-product exports have increased significantly this year. By the end of August, revenues reached $ 95.4 million, compared to $54.6 million at the same end of last year.

According to SENACSA, 51 million kilograms of meat were exported at the end of August this year, compared to 33.7 million kilograms at the end of the same month last year. Offal exports increased by 51.3%.

Revenue has grown significantly compared to the previous year, with sales volume up 74.7% by the end of August. Another noteworthy indicator is that foreign exchange earnings from offal exports account for 6.7% of total beef export revenue.

Currently, offal is exported to 47 countries, which is very close to the number of countries to which beef is exported , which reaches 53 countries.

An equally important sector is the export of animal by-products, including dairy products, intestines, and other by-products, which generates foreign exchange earnings of $84.6 million. The same applies to non-edible animal by-products, which generate total revenue of $128.7 million. This sector includes cow hides, fat, bone meal, chewing gum, cartilage, and pancreas.
