October 23, MINSK . A drunk Pinsk resident stole a car, BELTA learned from the Brest Regional Executive Committee Department of 

Internal Affairs. The Pinsk City Police Department received several reports of the driver damaging cars parked in a courtyard and fleeing the scene. Police officers immediately responded to the scene. A

21-year-old unemployed Pinsk resident was detained in a forest belt, along with an Audi 80 with typical accident damage. The man explained that after drinking ALCOHOL with friends, he decided to go to a disco. Upon exiting the courtyard, he noticed a parked car and, taking advantage of the worn locks, managed to enter and start it. Upon leaving the courtyard, the man lost control of the vehicle, damaged three cars, and fled the scene.

The defendant was brought to administrative responsibility for driving a vehicle without a driving license and in a state offor alcohol intoxication , as well as for leaving the scene of an accident. Furthermore, a criminal case has been opened against him under Part 1 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code, and he faces up to three years in prison.
