FAS approved the petitions of GAP "Resurs" for the acquisition of meat processing plants

The Federal Antimonopoly Service approved the petitions of the Tokarevskaya Poultry Farm, which is part of the Resurs GAP, to acquire several regional MEAT processing plants. This is stated in the message of the department.

“The Federal Antimonopoly Service of RUSSIA approved the petitions of the Tokarevskaya poultry farm for the acquisition of Zavolzhsky Meat Processing Plant LLC, Krasnodon Feed Mill LLC and Khvalynsky Pig Complex LLC,” the report says.

The enterprises are located in the Tver, Volgograd and Saratov regions. According to the service, the deal will not lead to restriction of competition in the meat and poultry production market.

The Resource Group of Companies is one of the largest domestic food producers and exporter of poultry meat products in Russia.
