The main garden areas - 74% (or 7.4 thousand hectares) of the total area of ​​\u200b\u200bgardens in the region are concentrated in six right-bank districts: Rtishchevsky - 2.5 thousand hectares, Khvalynsky - 1.8 thousand hectares, Saratov - 0.8 thousand hectares, Petrovsky - 0.7 thousand hectares, Volsky - 0.7 thousand hectares, in the city of Saratov - 0.919 thousand hectares. The area under gardens in these areas is increasing every year.
In the areas of the Right Bank, the spring laying of orchards is planned on an area of ​​205 hectares. The bulk of the work falls on the horticultural farms of the Khvalynsky district - up to 75% of the laying plan.
More than 720 thousand seedlings of fruit crops and 130 thousand seedlings of berry crops have been grown in the nurseries of the region for spring work, which completely covers the need for planting material.
