Demo crops of hybrids of corn and sunflower planted in the Krasnogvardeisky district of the Stavropol Territory

In the Krasnogvardeisky district, the sowing of demo crops of corn and sunflower hybrids has been completed.
For the second year, on the basis of the agricultural enterprise Agroholding Krasnogvardeisky LLC, together with specialists from the Rosselkhozcenter and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, experiments are being carried out to test hybrids of corn and sunflower. Hybrids of domestic and foreign selection participate in the experiments:
- 16 hybrids of corn of different ripeness groups from FAO 240 to FAO 510, of which 7 are hybrids of domestic selection.
– sunflower 19 hybrids for the Clearfield system, of which 6 hybrids are of domestic selection.
Sowing was carried out in a short time with conditioned seeds on a field of 23.53 hectares. Of these, corn occupies 8.64 hectares, and sunflower - 14.89 hectares.
it is important to note that this field is 100% irrigated.
