The Dagestan delegation studied the experience of cotton growing in Uzbekistan

The Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan Mukhtarbiy Adzhekov took part in the work of the Dagestan delegation in the Republic of Uzbekistan . As the minister said, the Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov visited Uzbekistan with an extensive business program. The Dagestan delegation held many fruitful meetings with Uzbek colleagues, discussing issues of interaction in the fields of trade, economics, culture, education, science, and sports. “It was interesting to study the experience of Uzbekistan in various areas of agriculture. As we know, cotton is one of the main agricultural crops of this country. Currently, Dagestan is also developing plans to revive cotton production. Together with the deputy khokim of the Bukhara region for agriculture and water management, Amrillo Nazarov, he visited the cotton fields. The experience of Uzbekistan in terms of technical support for cotton growing and cotton sales is noteworthy. We also got acquainted with the work of a modern greenhouse complex. In turn, Uzbek colleagues were interested in the experience of Dagestan sheep breeding. There are other areas of the agro-industrial complex where mutually beneficial cooperation can be established.
