By September 23, two SUGAR factories in the republic had produced 32,500 tons of white sugar, 2.5 times more than in the same period last year.
"This year, our Chishminsky Sugar Factory and Raevsakhar began receiving and processing beets one to two weeks earlier than usual," said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan.Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. "Furthermore, following the implementation of investment modernization projects, the plants have significantly increased their capacity. Together, they now process over 11,400 tons of sugar beets per day.
It's worth noting that the Chishminsky Sugar Refinery and the Raevsakhar company have implemented investment projects to modernize production and increase the plant's sugar beet processing capacity to 6,000 tons per day. Both projects were reviewed and approved at an Investment Hour meeting of the Investment Committee, attended by the HEAD of the region, Radiy Khabirov.
Today, over 18,800 hectares of sugar beets have been harvested in the republic, accounting for 43% of the total area, with 886,000 tons of the root crop harvested, yielding 470.9 centners per hectare."
