The yield is 33.8 centners per hectare, which is higher than last year. More than 80% of the planned harvest has been completed.
The first frosts have hit the region, with subzero temperatures reported in virtually all districts. However, this shouldn't affect the harvesting process and is even beneficial for farmers, as frosts remove excess moisture.
"The main focus now is on monitoring the quality of the harvest . About 800,000 tons of the harvested grain have been tested. According to the results, 630,000 tons (80%) are of food-grade quality," he said.Dmitry Voropayev, Minister of Agriculture
of the Krai. The active phase of the rapeseed harvest has begun in the region, with 179,000 tons threshed. Farms continue to replenish their forage reserves. The region has prepared 176,000 tons of hay, 903,000 tons of haylage, and 308,000 tons of silage. Overall, farmers have stockpiled over 97% of the forage planned.
More than 85,800 tons of potatoes have been dug up, and approximately 16,000 tons of vegetables have been harvested. The average potato yield is 218 centners per hectare, and the average vegetable yield is approximately 276 centners per hectare.
