The authorities asked the shopping center to do without entertainment for children on New Year's Eve

Rospotrebnadzor specialists recommended that shopping and exhibition centers exclude holding New Year's events for children,and restaurants - to abandon the "buffet"

Rospotrebnadzor recommended not to hold indoor events during the New Year holidays.

“It is recommended to exclude holding an animated New Year’s program for children in the foyer, corridors, halls of shopping and exhibition centers with competitions and performances by artists,” the department’s guidelines say.

The department also recommended that restaurants exclude buffet service from 23:00 on December 30, 2021 to 12:00 on January 1, 2022.

In addition, Rospotrebnadzor recommended during the New Year holidays:

do not hold New Year's corporate parties indoors; exclude joint New Year's events in schools for several classes; prevent mass gatherings of people at the skating rinks, as well as observe social distance and mask regime in locker rooms and rental shops; observe the mask regime in hotels and sanatoriums; hold New Year's performances in theaters, circuses, at concert venues for children only when the audience seats are filled no more than 50% of the design capacity; hold New Year's performances without an intermission lasting no more than one and a half hours.
