In the Novosibirsk region recorded an increase in the number of deaths per month

In October of this year, 3,706 death certificates were registered in the Novosibirsk Region, which is 5.6% more than in September and 13.3% less than in October last year, according to statistics from the Regional Civil Registry Office.

Last month, 2411 birth certificates were registered in the region, which is 34.9% less than death certificates. Compared to September of the current year, the birth rate in the Novosibirsk Region decreased by 0.7%, compared to October last year, it decreased by 6.9%.

In October of this year, 1,700 marriages were registered in the region, which is 24.4% less than in September and 5% higher than in October last year.

According to Rosstat, in September of this year, the main cause of death of 360 people in the Novosibirsk region was a CORONAVIRUS infection, which is four times higher than in the same month last year. All of the deceased were identified as covid-19 .

Over the past 24 hours, according to the operational headquarters, 12 people have died from coronavirus in the Novosibirsk region. In general, 3.4 thousand people died from the infection in the region.
