In Bashkiria, 14 people have died from CORONAVIRUS infection over the past day. The total number of victims of the pandemic in the region has reached 1,130, according to the republican operational headquarters for combating covid-19 .

As of the morning of September 1, 57,353 cases of the disease were registered in Bashkiria, including 303 people who were infected the day before. Also, 171 residents of the republic recovered during the day, a total of 51,982 patients were discharged.

The number of fully vaccinated the day before exceeded 1 million people: over the past day, the second component of the drug was received by 11,178 residents of the republic. 1.16 million people were vaccinated with the first component, including 6,712 over the past day.

As RBC Ufa reported, earlier the Kirovsky District COURT of the capital fined the Bashkir State Medical University for the outbreak of COVID-19 among students in April and May of this year. it was found that the university did not create the necessary conditions in hotels and dormitories to isolate students who arrived from abroad: disinfection of the premises was carried out with violations, the territory was not guarded, reusable utensils were used in the kitchens, and isolation requirements were not fully observed. According to the court decision, BSMU has to pay 100 thousand rubles. Also, the district courts of Ufa fined the vice-rector for innovation and medical work Anvar Bakirov and the HEAD of the specialized consultative and diagnostic center of the BSMU clinic Lilia Tukhvatullina for 25 thousand rubles.
