The situation with covid-19 in Moscow remains tense, although the rate of increase in the incidence has slowed in recent days. This was stated by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova on the TV channel "Russia 24".
“The situation today, not a day's news to anyone, is very tense. <...> The past four days show that although the rates are slightly decreasing, in any case, the incidence is growing,” she said.

According to Rakova, the number of people wishing to be vaccinated has been growing in the capital since last week. Every day, 26-27 thousand people are vaccinated in the city, of which 7-8 thousand are re-vaccinated, she stressed. Those capacities that were created by the capital's administration are enough to meet demand, the deputy minister believes.
“Given that QR codes are introduced in certain places after November 8 and social cards for unvaccinated elderly people are blocked, we think that the number of vaccinated people will grow, so we are expanding vaccination capacity to 35,000 starting this week,” Rakov noted. Moscow, according to the deputy mayor, has learned to quickly increase their volumes, so the authorities will satisfy any demand of the population for vaccinations.
