APPLE has removed Unjected, a dating app for unvaccinated people, from its AppStore. The social network itself announced this on its Instagram.

Unjected posted a snapshot of a letter from Apple stating that the app does not comply with AppStore policies. According to the letter, the app "inappropriately refers to the covid-19 pandemic within its concept or theme."

Unjected considers Apple's actions as censorship. According to the creators of the program, it was removed "obviously because of its reputation as a space in which people can maintain their medical autonomy." The platform noted that the way out of the situation could be the development of the site, because “they” (Apple and other IT companies) will not be able to turn it off.

An Apple spokesperson told Business Insider that Unjected violated Apple's COVID-19 content policy. The company also cited an interview with the founders of Unjected, who said that their app is for "like-minded unvaccinated people."

According to BLOOMBERG, Unjected launched in May as a dating platform. Unjected allows you to create profiles, mutually like other people and enter into correspondence, the application has about 18 thousand downloads.
