The EEC Council changed the technical regulations for milk and products for children

September 23, Moscow. The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, at a meeting held today in Moscow, amended the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union for dairy products and goods for children. This was announced at a briefing by EEC official representative Iya Malkina following the meeting, BelTA has learned.

"In the technical regulations" On the safety of MILK and dairy products "the conceptual apparatus has been clarified, technical amendments have been made in terms of identification, physico-chemical and microbiological indicators of certain types of dairy products," Iya Malkina specified. "The decision comes into force 360 ​​days from the date of its official publications".

In the technical regulation "On the safety of products intended for children and adolescents", certain provisions have been adjusted on the basis of law enforcement practice, taking into account global trends. "The changes will come into force six months after the date of publication of the decision of the EEC Council (tentatively in April 2023)," the EEC representative added.

In total, 60 issues were considered at the meeting of the EEC Council. Belarus was represented by Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko. it was decided to hold the next meeting on October 7 via videoconference.
