The best agricultural enterprises of the country are listed on the Republican Board of Honor. Among them is OJSC Parokhonskoye, the largest agricultural enterprise in the Pinsk region. At all times, people here work conscientiously: agronomists grow bread, machine operators plow the land, livestock breeders increase livestock gains, and operators increase MILK yield. The result of the work of a well-coordinated team is not long in coming: last year, the local grain growers managed to get a record harvest - almost 22,000 tons of grain with a yield of almost 49 centners per hectare. And this is on not the most fertile, peat-bog lands.
Sowing all year roundThe total land area of OAO Parokhonskoe is almost 27,000 hectares, of which 19,827 hectares are allocated for farmland, and arable land occupies 7,175 hectares. The agricultural enterprise specializes in plant growing and animal husbandry, and develops a powerful forage base. And it is also the leader in the country in the production of granular feed. Nevertheless, the collective of a strong economy does not stop there. In the spring, according to tradition, all forces are thrown into the sowing season, which is going on here at the usual pace. True, the heavenly office now and then presents surprises.
“We have sowing season all year round,” smiles Alexander Pikun, the chief agronomist of the agricultural enterprise. “The early spring crops have been sown long ago. Soybean is waiting in the wings, but it is not yet the time to sow it, the temperature does not allow it. It is necessary that at least 12 degrees of heat be in the soil, and we have frosts every night. Now it's up to corn, which occupies more than 4,000 hectares on the farm. The difficulty is that some areas of the fields are still flooded - about 600 hectares are completely in the water. On the one hand - Pripyat, on the other - Yaselda, which flows into it. In the middle of the farm is the Bobrik River, which feeds it with moisture. Every year we ennoble the reclamation system, clean the water passages. There are 12 pumping stations on the territory of the farm.
According to the chief agronomist, when plants, including forage grasses, are well fed, they endure natural disasters much better. So, here, in order to maintain the required level of nutrients in the soil and reduce the cost of purchasing mineral fertilizers, more than 20 tons of organic fertilizers are applied per hectare of arable land. This volume of application is due to the high density of livestock, and in the agricultural enterprise it is one of the highest in the region - 135 heads per 100 hectares of agricultural land. Due to the introduction of a sufficient amount of organic fertilizers, the farm managed to increase the level of soil fertility. If in 2010 the fertility score was 30.8, then in 2022 it increased to 33.6.
- Barley, rye, triticale, rapeseed - winter crops came out quite good from wintering. Another thing is the places that are now in the water. On them, of course, there will be small losses, - Alexander Pikun complains. – In 1991, when I came to work on the farm, on May 9 we pressed hay, which had already been cut and dried. Today is what date, but the grass has not grown yet. The weather does not spoil us, therefore we have to make every effort ourselves to prepare food for the future and harvest a good harvest.
For example, in order to increase the yield of cultivated crops of seed plants of perennial cereals and legumes, as well as melliferous herbs, 170 bee colonies are kept on the farm. To create a solid forage base, the quality of forage harvesting in the form of dried grass haylage and corn silage in the phase of the beginning of milky-wax ripeness is improving every year. The agricultural enterprise constantly has a year and a half stock of grass fodder. So, according to the results of 2022, more than 38 centners of feed units, 99.1 thousand tons of silage, 64.2 thousand tons of haylage were harvested per conditional HEAD. Produced 2604 tons of herbal pellets.
100 percent or more! For 2023, for the livestock industry, the task is the same - to increase production. To do this, it is necessary to improve the technologies of keeping and feeding, to introduce the achievements of science. If everything is done as required by the regulations, the results will be high, Vladimir Khrolenko , DIRECTOR of OAO Parokhonskoye, is sure.
The total number of cattle on the farm is about 26 thousand, including 5275 forage cattle. Last year, the gross milk yield was above 43 thousand tons (106% by 2021), the average daily milk yield per cow was 8352 kilograms. Moreover, the economy assures that this is far from the limit, noting the trend of further growth of all indicators without exception. In total, more than 41.5 thousand tons of milk were sold, 99.7% - extra grade.
Worthy results were achieved here in terms of cattle weight gain - almost a kilogram per day by providing young animals with high-quality feed and observing growing technologies. In a word, everything that Vladimir Khrolenko spoke about is observed in the economy by 100 percent and even more.
Planning of activities and development of the enterprise is primarily aimed at reducing the cost of production. Due to investment loans, the farm has significantly upgraded production facilities. In recent years, 6 dairy complexes and a cattle fattening complex, consisting of five departments, have been built and reconstructed. A new grain-drying complex KZSV-100 was erected, warehouses for the storage of mineral fertilizers and pesticides were repaired.
Complete order has also been put in place on the territory of the machine and tractor fleet, where equipment is stored, serviced and repaired. Two modern lines were put into operation: for the production of fuel briquettes in the form of a cylinder with a diameter of 70 mm and for cleaning seeds of perennial grasses with a capacity of 2 tons per hour.
Village workersThe main philosophy of the largest agricultural enterprise in the Pinsk region is the development of the economy. It is important that each of the industries make a profit, thereby raising the standard of living of the villagers. And the parokhontsy will not stand aside. That is why they can safely say here: behind each figure is their daily painstaking work.
Today the company employs 761 people. Day after day, people work with full dedication on their native land. In turn, the management of the economy fully supports them in all matters and undertakings that benefit the common cause. What is the priority for a person at all times? Of course, housing and a decent salary. So, in OJSC "Parokhonskoe" workers are provided with both. By the way, wages for 2022 amounted to more than 1,600 rubles.
And life in Parokhonsk is not much different from the one that boils in the regional center. This is probably why the local population is getting younger and it arrives literally before our eyes. There is a shopping center, a canteen, a cafe-bar, a hotel and a hairdresser. Every fifth inhabitant of the agro-town is a child. For them - a kindergarten-nursery and a secondary school. More than 70 children study accordion, accordion, violin and piano at the music school, attend a children's and youth sports institution. There is a center of culture and leisure, as well as a district hospital and an outpatient clinic.
- Caring for people is the foundation on which the stability of the team and the attitude of workers to work are built, - the chairman of the trade union committee, Lyudmila Malyshchitskaya, is sure. - To provide people with housing, there are two 24-apartment houses, 102 cottages, 33 apartments have been purchased. In recent years, our workers have built more than 70 private houses on the territory of the agro-town. This speaks volumes. First of all, that people want to live and work on our land.
