In January-April 2023, agricultural production in the Kaluga region grew by one and a half percent

This was reported in Kalugastat. In four months, the farms produced 42.6 thousand tons of livestock and poultry MEAT for slaughter, 162.7 thousand tons of MILK, 49.5 million eggs. This is respectively 105.2%, 109.4% and 100% against the same period last year.

At the end of April 2023, farms of all categories had 221.4 thousand heads of cattle and 5.2 million heads of birds.
