Poultry farming development is becoming a key economic priority for the Upper Volga region's agro-industrial complex. Recent years have seen growing interest in poultry farming, directly related to the increasing demand for poultry MEAT in both domestic and foreign markets. This industry not only ensures food security but also creates jobs, which is especially important for rural areas.

One of the significant projects is the expansion of the Kimry Poultry Farm, where construction is planned for over 20 new poultry houses, a veterinary unit, and other facilities. This will increase the turkey flock to 200,000 heads, significantly increasing meat production and creating 200 new jobs.

Particular attention is being paid to the project of the Tverskoy Broiler company, which will invest over 5.8 billion rubles in the construction of a new poultry farm in the Rzhevsky District. The new complex is expected to create over 240 jobs, meet the needs of the local population, and open up new horizons for product exports.

The meeting also discussed the development of the Chicken House chain of family-run cafes in Tver, which will promote local produce and create additional jobs in the food service industry. Thus, the implementation of new poultry projects in the Rzhevsky and Kimry districts will be an important step toward strengthening the Upper Volga region's agricultural sector, stimulating economic development and supporting local farmers.
