The first batch of canned meat from the Kurgan region was sent to Azerbaijan under the supervision of Rosselkhoznadzor.

The products successfully passed the required laboratory tests at the Chelyabinsk branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Animal Husbandry, confirming their safety and compliance with the importing country's requirements. During the inspection, officials verified the cargo details and accompanying veterinary documents, as well as the production date and sanitary condition of the products. All inspections passed without violations, and export was authorized. In January 2025 , the volume of canned goods exported to Azerbaijan amounted to 15.8 tons, while 97.3 tons were shipped for the entire previous year.
