Russia's Meat Production Growth in 2025: Pork and Poultry Lead the Way

Meat and by-product exports exceeded 930,000 tons, a 16% increase compared to 2024 , with pork and poultry accounting for the bulk of shipments. Imports also increased, reaching 700,000 tons, a 1.6% increase compared to last year; imports account for approximately 6% of the domestic market. The most significant increase in imports was for beef and poultry. Overall, meat exports exceeded imports by approximately 40% in 2025 .
