The use of antibiotics in poultry farming remains a pressing issue. Long-term use of these drugs leads to the development of resistance in pathogenic bacteria and negatively impacts beneficial intestinal microflora, weakening the birds' immune system .
Research shows that adding probiotics, zeolite, and inulin to broiler diets can effectively replace antibiotics . Probiotics restore normal intestinal microflora, which improves digestion and strengthens the immune system. Zeolite, in turn, helps remove toxins, and inulin stimulates the growth of beneficial microflora.
Experiments on ten-day-old Ross-308 chickens showed that this supplement reduced feed consumption by 10%, resulting in savings of 14.76 to 26.02 rubles per bird. Furthermore, weight gains were measured: bird weight increased by 10-15%, and breast fillet weight by 7-11%. Therefore, the new supplements not only contribute to savings but also improve the overall health of the birds, which is especially important for the production of environmentally friendly products.
