A new livestock complex worth 25 billion rubles will appear in Primorye

“We need to build another complex for 5.6 thousand heads of dairy herd, which will produce about 62 thousand tons of MILK per year and about 1 thousand tons of MEAT per year. The project is large, the cost is about 25 billion rubles. We are dividing it into two stages. The first stage is 2024-2027 with a funding amount of 11.2 billion rubles, of which 20% are our own funds, 30% - we want to ask VEB.RF, this is about 3.4 billion rubles. And 50% of the first stage “This is Sberbank,” said Alexander Bekker at a meeting with the participation of VEB.RF Chairman Igor Shuvalov and the HEAD of the Primorsky Territory Oleg Kozhemyako. The second stage is planned for implementation in 2028-2032.

The company is implementing a program for creating full-cycle enterprises for the production of dairy and meat food products "300 tons", which involves the production of 300 tons of milk per day. Two complexes for 4.4 thousand dairy herds have already been built. So far, the enterprises have 3.2 thousand heads. As Alexander Bekker said, last year 31 thousand tons of milk were produced, which is about 22% of the total production in the Primorsky Territory.

“When these two complexes reach full capacity in 2026, there will be about 48 thousand tons of milk, which is about 40% of the total milk production in the Primorsky Territory. As part of this program, we also built a dairy plant that produces 148 tons per day,” - added the general DIRECTOR.

The implementation of the project for another complex will make it possible to complete the “300 tons” program. According to Alexander Bekker, this will provide the population of the region with high-quality fresh essential products, as well as keep people in the countryside.

“Today we are provided with an overall milk consumption of 25%. <...> We will immediately almost double milk production . We will reach 150 thousand tons,” said Oleg Kozhemyako .

He added that it is important to provide the company with support in terms of land reclamation, crop production, and technology. “The project is important, necessary and economically beneficial both for business and for our region,” the governor emphasized.
