Rosselkhoznadzor identified an enterprise from the Sverdlovsk region supplying counterfeit products to social institutions

Thus, when analyzing data in the FSIS Cyrano, ROSSELKHOZNADZOR officials discovered that beef liver from Premium LLC was supplied to the State Budgetary Institution Rzhev Boarding House for the Elderly and Disabled. On February 21, 2024 , the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Tver and Yaroslavl regions took product samples from the boarding home and sent them for research on quality and safety indicators to the Tver branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "ARRIAH." Based on the results of laboratory studies, it was established that the pig genome was found in beef liver. This fact indicates falsification of manufactured products and deception of consumers by substituting one raw material for another.

The Ural interregional department of Rosselkhoznadzor LLC "Premimum" announced a warning about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements and releasing unsafe food products into circulation. Information letters have been sent to the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Tver and Yaroslavl Regions and the Ministry of Social Protection of the Population of the Tver Region.

At the moment, the agency in the FSIS "Mercury" continues to monitor the veterinary accompanying documents issued by authorized persons of Premium LLC in order to identify other recipients of the products produced by Premium LLC and take measures to withdraw them from circulation.

It should be noted that while working in information systems, inspectors of the department of internal veterinary supervision and border veterinary control at the State Border of the Russian Federation and transport in the Sverdlovsk Region of the Ural Interregional Directorate of Rosselkhoznadzor repeatedly recorded violations committed by Premium LLC. Information about numerous violations was sent to the internal affairs bodies to carry out verification activities within the scope of their powers, including in terms of identifying signs of fraud on the part of the company’s employees.
