Digital Evolution: E-Commerce in Russian Veterinary Medicine Reaches 21%

Since the beginning of 2022, Russian veterinary medicine has been actively increasing production volumes, which contributes to the growth of online sales. Previously, the market was dominated by traditional sales methods through offline channels, but now there is a steady transition to digital platforms. Olga Bekuzarova noted that the digital environment accelerates the search for suppliers and buyers, saving time and resources.

The advantages of online sales are obvious: expansion of sales geography, availability of goods in remote regions, reduction of logistics costs and the possibility of more accurate analysis of consumer preferences. This helps companies to adapt their offers and improve the quality of service, which, in turn, leads to increased customer loyalty.

According to forecasts, by 2030 the share of online sales in the Russian agro-industrial complex will reach 30%, and veterinary medicine will also follow this trend. Currently, more than half of the country's agricultural producers use digital channels to sell their products, which emphasizes the growing importance of e-commerce in this area. The transition to e-commerce in veterinary medicine is considered a necessary step in the current economic realities. As Olga Bekuzarova noted, the key issue is not the need to go online , but the speed of this transition.
