The All-Russian online marathon "Healthy Soil: Transition to Bioprotection and Plant Bionutrition for Benefit"

Today, agricultural production is under pressure from low profitability, climate change, declining effectiveness of agrochemicals, pest and disease resistance to chemicals, depleted soil, and other factors. Optimizing agricultural technologies is becoming a priority, and the marathon aims to help address this.

All leading agribiotech companies active in the market and their solutions will be on display nonstop in a single location during the 2025 agricultural season, in line with global trends toward sustainability, greening, and increased competitiveness. The focus is on reducing costs while maintaining stable results and profitability, economics , efficiency, and benefits for agricultural producers.

The Marathon is an annual event held by the Organic Farming Union, which has become a tradition. It showcases optimal and proven production solutions from a large number of leading experts. In 2024 , more than 34 companies producing biopreparations and biofertilizers presented the results of field trials in various regions and on various crops.

In February 2025, Rosselkhozbank included the production of biopreparations and biofertilizers among the leading global trends in regenerative agriculture, the global market for which is estimated at $10.30 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach $31.88 billion by 2031, with a compound annual growth rate of 15.37%. This growth trend is sustainable.

The global organic agriculture market continues to grow , and along with it, the market for crop protection and nutrition products for organic production with increased environmental requirements.

During the marathon, we'll explore why greening agricultural production has become a global scientific and technological trend in agriculture, why it will soon be mandatory for everyone, what are the pitfalls and challenges of implementation, and how to address them in a production environment.

Let's explore what agrochemistry can't do that agrobiology can. How can we improve soil fertility, suppressive capacity, plant immunity , and resilience? Why are transnational chemical companies acquiring established biological products, while the largest regenerative agriculture startups are producing biopreparations and biofertilizers? What advantages and developments does Russia have in biologization and organic farming? What new and progressive advances have appeared on the Russian market in the past year, and which time-tested solutions are showing consistent results?

Each manufacturer of biological plant protection and nutrition products will present their developments, basic protection and nutrition schemes, results of agricultural trials, economic cost calculations, yield and quality data, and discuss their active ingredients, operating procedures, and application features. During the marathon, you will have the opportunity to ask specific questions, and specialists will be happy to answer them.
