Buryatia aims to export meat and livestock to Uzbekistan

At a meeting held between the Deputy Chairman of the Government of Buryatia and the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk, the creation of a working group with the participation of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR to organize deliveries was discussed. According to preliminary forecasts, the republic can EXPORT up to six thousand heads of cattle annually. "Buryatia was the leading exporter of cattle to Kazakhstan , which underlines our capabilities in this area," said the HEAD of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Amgalan Darmayev. The parties also discussed the possibility of importing Uzbek vegetables and fruits through the creation of a wholesale distribution center.
