By 2010, prices had risen significantly: pork had risen by 51% to 198.35 rubles, and beef by 71% to 198 rubles. By 2013, prices for lamb began to be fixed, at 282 rubles per kilogram. In 2015, the price of beef was 310 rubles, and in 2020, lamb reached 392 rubles.

By 2025, prices have risen even further: lamb costs 785 rubles, beef 626 rubles, pork 418 rubles, and chicken 218 rubles. The main factors driving these price increases include rising feed costs, rising agricultural wages, and declining cattle herds .

Over 20 years, beef has increased in price by 440%, pork by 117%, and chicken by 146%.
