Brazil: Domestic meat supply rebounds, hitting historic highs

As production increases, so does the availability of MEAT per capita, reaching 96 kg per person per year, the second highest ever recorded, second only to 2013. The increase in the indicator occurs even with the growth of the population of Brazil.

Pork production will be high, possibly exceeding 5.3 million tons, the highest volume ever. Product availability per capita is generally stable in relation to 2022 at about 19 kg per person per year. The increase in the supply of the product in the domestic market is offset by an increase in population and exports.
