The Belgorod region has become a leader among the subjects of the Russian Federation in the production of poultry meat

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Belgorod Region summed up the results of 2022 for the production of poultry MEAT. According to preliminary data, the volume of production increased by 17.2 thousand tons and amounted to 818 thousand tons. In relation to the indicators of the previous year, this figure increased to 103.5%.

10% of the poultry population in RUSSIA is grown in the region - this is the first place in the country. As of January 1, 2023, the poultry population in the region amounted to 47.6 million heads.

According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, Belgorod enterprises specializing in the production of poultry meat are among the top five largest Russian producers.
