Izvestia learned about the refusal of electronics stores from installments

Electronics stores refuse to sell goods by installments and credit in RUSSIA, Izvestia writes with reference to retailers' employees and their representatives.

The sale on credit and installments was canceled by the APPLE re: Store technology network, which is managed by Inventive Retail Group (IRG), the correspondent of the publication learned. The installments were also temporarily abandoned by M.Video - Eldorado, said Valeria Andreeva, a representative of the company.

According to her, retailers saw installment plans as a way to promote products and took on the cost of servicing loans. After a serious weakening of the ruble, sellers decided to cancel this type of promotion in order to keep retail prices down. In addition, in recent weeks, the share of credit purchases in sales has decreased, said Andreeva.
