The harvesting campaign began in all districts of the Lipetsk region

Farmers harvest winter wheat, peas and barley.
To date, 45.8 thousand hectares have been threshed. Collected 243 thousand tons. And although the gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops is still lower than last year, the yield significantly exceeds last year's figures.
Winter wheat is being harvested in all regions. Its gross harvest amounted to 226 thousand tons. The yield is much higher than last year - 54.5 q/ha. Last year, on the same date, it was 38.7 q/ha. Most of all, from one hectare, the farmers of the Yelets district collect 60.7 centners on average.
Peas are threshed in 6 districts. 3.3 thousand tons were received with a yield of 27.4 centners per hectare. This is also higher than last year (24 c/ha).
Agrarians from 12 districts started harvesting barley. They harvested 14 thousand tons with a yield of 45 q/ha (36 q/ha in 2021).
In total, this year the farmers of the region will have to harvest over 800,000 hectares of grain and leguminous crops. The total sown area in the current year amounted to 1.4 million hectares.
